مساحة نتمرّن فيها على التماسك في زمن الانقسام
A space to practice cohesion in times of fragmentation.
في زمن يكثر فيه الخوف وعدم اليقين، تتحول الاختلافات سريعًا إلى اتهامات، وتصبح الأولوية أن نكون "على حق" أهم من أن نكون أحرارًا. وهذا من أحد الانماط التي أبقتنا رهائن للمشروع الاستعماري الاستيطاني التوسعي، وأبعدتنا عن بوصلتنا المشتركة. هذه المساحة محاولة لاحتواء اختلافاتنا بطريقة تعيد توجيه انتباهنا من الآخر، إلى ما ينهض داخلنا عندما نواجه شخصًا يحمل رأيًا مختلفًا، أو هوية مختلفة، أو مذهب مختلف. مساحة تدرك أن الخلاف و الصراع ليس مشكلة، بل تعلم كيفيته هو جوهر العمل نفسه.
هذه مساحة لحسم الخلافات أو مناظرة حقائق على الأرض لمن يدفع الثمن الاكبر، بل مساحة تسمح لنا بأن نحتوي التوتر الذي يولده الاختلاف لنعزز تماسكنا. والأهم لنحافظ على بوصلتنا المشتركة: السيادة، التحرير، والكرامة التي لا تأتي على حساب أحد
In a time marked by fear and uncertainty, differences quickly turn into accusations, and being “right” begins to matter more than becoming free. This is one of the patterns that has kept us hostage to the expanding settler-colonial project, and has diverted us from our shared compass.
This space is an attempt to hold our differences in a way that shifts our attention away from the other, and toward noticing what rises within us when we encounter someone with a different opinion, identity, or sect. A space that understands that learning how to be in conflict is not a problem, but the very essence of the work.
This is not a space for settle disagreements or debate the realities on the ground over who pays the highest price Rather, it is a space that allows us to hold the tension that difference without sacrificing cohesion and a shared compass of liberation and safety that does not come at the cost of anyone else.
كيفية اللقاء؟
في كل لقاء يتطوع شخصان للدخول في نقاش حول موضوع يختلفون حوله بسياق ما يجري في منطقتنا. أقوم بتيسير الحوار وإبطاء إيقاعه بحيث لا يكون سباقًا لإثبات من هو على حق، بل ممارسة للإصغاء لما يفتحه الاختلاف داخلنا. أما بقية الحضور، فدورهم في البداية هو الإصغاء والملاحظة: ماذا يتحرك فيهم وهم يشاهدون هذا الحوار. وفي نهاية اللقاء، نفتح المجال لنقاش أوسع ومشاركة ما لاحظه كل شخص في نفسه. الفكرة ليست إقناع الآخر، بل ملاحظة ما يهتز فينا، وكيف نستطيع احتواء هذا التوتر دون أن يتحول إلى عداء
In each session, two people volunteer to enter a conversation around a topic they disagree on, in relation to what is unfolding in our region. I will facilitate the dialogue and slow its pace so that it does not become a race to prove who is right, but rather a practice of listening to what the disagreement opens within us.
For the rest of the participants, the role at first is to listen and observe: what moves within them as they witness this conversation. At the end of the session, we open the space for a wider discussion and for participants to share what they noticed within themselves. The aim is not to convince, but to notice what is stirred within us, and to learn how to hold that tension of difference without losing connection, nor political clarity.
